Position: Test Engineer
Exp: 2 - 4 yrs
Work Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai
Selected resource is expected to join immediately.
Skills:
* Understand the functionality of the application and scope of work
* Coordinate with customer for escalation and/or resolution of technical issues
* Monitor project progress and performance and provide frequent project updates to management
* Has Advanced / Expert level of knowledge on testing concepts
* Preparation of test strategy /test Approach/ Project or Test plan and Test Closure Report.
* Ensure Test Environment Readiness
* Maintain Test-ware (Test Cases, Tests Data, and Test Stubs/Harnesses) in auditable form
* Plan, validate tests, Identify and plan re-tests.
* Defect analysis, Management and Metrics collation and Analysis
* Review and Guide Test Executors / Test engineers in testing activities
* Ensures Requirement Analysis and Test Coverage
* Reviewing the work delivered by testers.
* Responsible for Knowledge Management, Knowledge Transfer within the team and training for the team members
* Task allocation and monitoring
* Project Issue/ conflict Resolution
* Responsible for effective team communication.
* Responsible for project status reporting and project tracking
* Co-ordinate and manage the schedules of the test team and onsite-offshore team activities
* Responsible for Client coordination and Team meetings
* .Responsible for Configuration Management and monitoring Change Management, Scope Creep
* Coordination with the Automation Test Team and Development team if required
* Ensuring Team Adherance to quality standards/process and time schedules
* Risk analysis and Risk mitigation planning
* Define test case writing methodology and techniques
* Responsible for facilitating testing project process audits / certifications
* Participates in refining testing practices and methodologies
* Participates in new business development, preparing and giving presentations, working on Sales Support for RFP's
* Manage expenses/billing for the project (approval of Timesheets, leave records, telephone bills, etc.) if delegated
* Mentor and motivate the team for high performance
